How to calculate attendance percentage

A class contains 90 students. On a day, the attendance strength of the class was 72. Find the daily attendance percentage.

Number of Members Absent Daily = 90 – 72
= 18
Attending Percentage = (72 / 90) x 100
= 80 %
Absent Percentage = 100 – 80
= 20 %
